Open call AMU Gallery for 2027

AMU Gallery (GAMU) announces an open call for exhibition projects and workshops for 2027.

The call is intended for both Czech and international artists and curators, applications may be sent both in Czech or in English.

The GAMU Exhibition Committee, which evaluates submitted projects, gives preference to thematic curated exhibitions with interdisciplinary approaches, as well as projects based on artistic research.

Applications can be submitted by 30 April 2026 at nikola.brabcova@famu.cz

Application requirements:

• please specify whether the proposal is for an exhibition or a workshop
• a detailed project description (max. three standard pages of text)
• a structured CV/bio of the applicant
• brief CVs/bios of the exhibited artists, including a showcase of their work / links to online portfolio (total size of attachments up to 10 MB)
• the exhibition’s budget (possibly with proposed additional sources of funding)

The AMU Gallery provides:

• exhibition management
• technical support
• graphic processing and printing of accompanying materials
• basic PR
• production costs up to CZK 40,000 for exhibitions and up to CZK 10,000 for workshops (fees, materials), depending on the gallery’s budget for the given year.

The results will be announced by 31 May 2026.
